Description

Adrian Tacchi, also known as the charismatic singer of Baba Shrimps, is returning with his solo project. His new single "Guete Tag" is an anthem to the imperfection of everyday life (and midlife crises). While he stands for great indie pop and energetic stage shows with Baba Shrimps, he shows a more intimate, almost philosophical side solo. He calls himself Tacchi, after his grandmother's maiden name, and lives in a small room in a big city. On the third floor, 408 meters above sea level. The latter Tacchi cannot see from here, but he hears his neighbor playing the piano. While waiting for visitors in his room, he begins to sing songs in dialect. Tacchi writes carefree about his life, murmurs melodies, sometimes counts seconds aloud to become more intense again. With his guitar and supported by Luca Burkhalter on keyboard, Tacchi packages everyday and personal things into touching pop songs. Besides the radio hits "Numeno" and "Supermercato," he attracts attention with wild staging. For his song "Schwerelos," he rode a horse through Zurich's city center. The dialect musician brings a new kind of mix of concert, stand-up, and interactive staging to the stage. His shows go far beyond the typical pop concert.
