Formed in late 2024 by guitarist Maurin Bieler, Halenah features four experienced Swiss musicians delivering a captivating fusion of psychedelic jazz, progressive rock, and world music. Their performances are characterized by complex rhythms, searching melodies, and moments of collective improvisation, inspired by artists like Glass Beams, Son of Kemet, and Jimi Hendrix. The band’s debut album, produced at Sour Soul Studio in Bürglen, is set for release in autumn 2026, promising an innovative sound that is both familiar and forward-looking.
