Sylvia - Guardian of the Forest - An Original Interpretation of the Music by Léo Delibes

Description

Sylvia – Guardian of the Forest An ballet performance by Ballettstudio Lilo from Eutingen-Göttelfingen A mysterious forest, a kidnapped butterfly princess, and a brave guardian embarking on an extraordinary journey... With "Sylvia – Guardian of the Forest," Ballettstudio Lilo presents its own interpretation of the classical ballet Sylvia set to the music of French composer Léo Delibes. When dark shadows kidnap the butterfly princess from her enchanted garden, Sylvia sets out to find her. Her journey takes her deep into an enchanted forest, where four trials await: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. Each encounter demands something different from her – courage, trust, compassion, and the strength to listen to her inner voice. Ultimately, her journey leads Sylvia to the shadow's cave. There she realizes that light and darkness are closer than they seem – and that true strength lies not only in fighting but also in understanding, feeling, and connecting. Driven by the enchanting music of Léo Delibes, dancers aged 6 to 30 tell the story through classical ballet. The original ballet's story has been reinterpreted by Ballettstudio Lilo and adapted for different age groups of the ensemble. This creates a fanciful ballet performance about friendship, courage, compassion, and the power of light – danced by young and older dancers of Ballettstudio Lilo. Some heroines do not carry swords. They dance. They listen. They feel. And thereby change the world. From 4 years old
