The multilingual artist, who lives in southern Switzerland, is a welcome guest at national and international music festivals and concert events. She has performed in many of the world's most renowned concert halls, and has played with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano G. Verdi, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Tainan Symphony Orchestra, Regina Royal Symphony, the Mainz Philharmonics, Orquesta Filarmonica di Queretaro, Orquesta della UNAM (Mexico), Arkansas Philharmonic, Cape Cod Symphony, and many others. In the USA, she is Artist in Residence for the Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra. The award-winning violinist was named "Artist of the Year" in Chile and Italy. She was awarded the "Premio Sirmione Catullo" and performed at the Palazzo Quirinale and on the famous Piazza Campidoglio in Rome, in the presence of the Italian President. Natasha Korsakova is a cultural ambassador of the "Fondazione Sorella Natura" in Assisi, Italy. In connection with the audience for the Fondazione Sorella Natura, she performed in 2011 for Pope Benedict XVI in the Sala Nervi in Vatican City, together with the distinguished Swiss violinist Manrico Padovani. Her repertoire includes over 60 concerts for violin and orchestra as well as countless chamber music works. As a passionate communicator, the artist is invited to guest appearances on German, Italian, and Swiss talk shows for programs ARD, RSI, SF, BR, RAI, and Mediaset. She accepted invitations to the International Conference "21minutes Knowledge of Excellence" in Milan and "13 -Tempo di Idee" in Assisi (2023). Natasha Korsakova's first crime novel, "Tödliche Sonate" – A Case for Commissario Di Bernardo, was published in 2018 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by Heyne Verlag (Penguin Random House). It has since been translated into several languages. In Italy, the novel (translated as "Ultima nota di violino") was awarded the coveted "Premio Edoardo Kihlgren – Opera Prima per Letteratura Europea" as well as the "Magna Grecia Award." As an author, she regularly appears at major literary festivals in Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. Her second crime novel is "Römisches Finale" (Heyne, 2019). The third crime volume "Di Bernardo" was published in 2023 (Septime Verlag), and the fourth volume of the crime series, "Quartett," is scheduled for spring 2026.
What makes her unique as an author is that she plays classical violin works that appear in her novels during readings and book presentations. Natasha Korsakova, of Greek-Russian descent, was born into a musical family and started playing the violin at age 5. Her first teacher was her grandfather, Boris Korsakov. After him, her father, the renowned violin virtuoso Andrej Korsakov, continued her training. Her mother is the pianist Yolanta Miroshnikova-Caprarica. After her father's early death, Natasha Korsakova initially studied with Prof. Ulf Klausenitzer in Nuremberg, later with Prof. Saschko Gawriloff in Cologne. The artist plays a valuable instrument by Stradivarius-Vuillaume "Messias" (Paris, 1870).
