Description
Experience the GRAND FINALE of the three-part, brand-new theater series STÜTZLIWÖSCH SUPERTRANS by Swiss author Kay Matter in one evening: Three exciting and different directorial positions have brought the individual parts UNO, DUE, and TRE to the stage over the course of the season. A high-caliber new generation tells in collaboration about an ambivalent father-child relationship, self-confidence and shame, frustration and unconditional love. UNO In Transition, with a squeaking voice from Testogel and Peach Fuzz on the upper lip, to visit relatives in Italy?! Phew. Matteo is terrified of his four quasi-grandmothers and all the others in the village who still know him as Isabella, of the looks and comments. But he wants to spend time with his sick father Aldo, and so begins a joint road trip that develops into a touching confrontation with masculinity and queerness. While Matteo experiences a second puberty between gender euphoria and dysphoria, Aldo feels his own strength waning. With fragile bodies, they struggle in the mirror of the other for recognition and understanding – until suddenly everything around them begins to wobble. FEATURING: Lev Friedmann, Peter Knaack, Nicola Gründel DUE As soon as Matteo and his father Aldo reach their destination, the village Belbuio turns into a spooky town. DUE takes the two protagonists directly into the suffocating arms of the “Nun,” the quasi-grandmothers commenting with gossip. Luckily, at least the blind Chihuahua Ernesto does not leave Matteos side. While Aldo tries to sell the Fiat, Matteo, pale with hunger for meat and men, roams the streets, while the monster lurks.. FEATURING: Lev Friedmann, Thomas Wodianka, Florian Voigt, Rahel Hubacher, Lea Grünbichler TRE After the horny ending of DUE, TRE rises from the darkness: post-apocalyptic, sexy, and fucking scary. Belbuio seems as if it has been abandoned by the saints. Men suddenly disappear, and the characters we had become attached to seem possessed. The two-part rom-com finally tips over and is swallowed by the thriller. Under the glowing eyes of the monster, lovers Matteo and Santo keep meeting – or maybe finally really? The villagers need to sleep peacefully, so the grandmothers organize a hunt. Will Belbuio become an arena for desire and pursuit? Will Matteo and Santo find each other again in the end? And can father, son, and Chihuahua finally be united? FEATURING: Lev Friedmann, Mirjam Rast, David Rothe, Edith Saldanha, Markus ScheumannHighlights
