Between art song and sound experiment. The soprano Franziska Groß, this year's scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association Konstanz, presents an extraordinary evening of songs together with Shih-Yu Tang (piano/viola) and Carla Weidmann (clarinet). Works by Thierry Tidrow, György Ligeti, Wolfgang Rihm, Richard Strauss, Jacques Offenbach, and Jörg Wyttenbach span the spectrum from classical song tradition to contemporary sound worlds. Franziska Groß demonstrates her artistic versatility in one of the works in a special way: here she can be experienced both as a singer and a violinist. A surprising concert evening between the familiar and the unexpected. As part of the concert, the Förderverein der Musikschule Konstanz honors Rose Jackson-Coffey (vocals) for her special musical achievements.
