This three-part workshop series, held in September 2026, connects archaeological research with artistic fiction, exploring how borders, migration, and forgotten relics shape our present. Participants will join guided city walks through historic Laufenburg, led by archaeologists and a curator, uncovering layers from the Bronze Age to medieval times. The journey continues with a creative writing session with author and professor Ann Mbuti, transforming archaeological impressions into speculative stories. The series offers a playful bridge between fact and fiction, encouraging a new perspective on city history.
