Description

Spike And The Gimme Gimmes (US) Take The Fall Tour PUNK ROCK SUPERGROUP MEETS COUNTRY CROONER A punk rock supergroup with a rotating lineup of touring musicians from around the world: Spike And The Gimme Gimmes unite members from bands like Ramones, Black Flag, Social Distortion, Rocket From The Crypt, The Damned, Strung Out, and No Doubt. Led by frontman Spike Slawson, the band has been captivating international audiences since the mid-90s with their unique blend of country crooner charm and punk rock attitude. As one of the most popular touring cover bands worldwide, they combine humor, joy of playing, and raw live energy. “Country Roads” and “Leaving On A Jet Plane” by John Denver were the first two songs released by Me First And The Gimme Gimmes in 1995, ushering in a new era in punk rock. Until 2025, the group performed under the name Me First And The Gimme Gimmes before rebranding as Spike And The Gimme Gimmes. This step underscores the central role of their long-time frontman without changing the character of the band. Their shows are a lively, cross-genre celebration. You should see for yourself when the supergroup invites you to a guest performance in Zurich. Contributors: Spike And The Gimme Gimmes
