Description

From everyday things, new spaces, stories, and rules emerge. But who determines them? How does a game evolve? And what happens when someone no longer wants to play? In "Spiel im Spiel," three dancers explore the inexhaustible diversity of playing. With movement, imagination, and improvisation, they create a shared playing space where children and adults are invited to think along, make decisions, and become part of the action themselves. Each performance is created anew — driven by the audience's imagination and the joy of inventing together. An interactive dance piece for children and families about creativity, togetherness, and the power of play. It will be followed by a Niggi-Näggi program with the Stiftung Sternschnuppe after the performance on Sun, Dec 6, 2026. "Spiel im Spiel" is an interactive dance piece exploring the diversity of playing. Three dancers invite children and adults to co-create and become part of the action. The performance takes place at Tanzhaus Basel.
