This family workshop is about one of the most modest souvenirs of all: the refrigerator magnet. Small, inexpensive, and practical in carry-on size, it promises to preserve memories. But magnets are primarily: consumer goods that sneak into our homes unnoticed through our wallets. Together, we examine these small mementos and create our own magnets, somewhere between souvenir kitsch and personal memory. The workshop is aimed at families with children as well as all interested parties. Free to come and go.
