Sous les jupes

Description

With her lampshade on her head, this tall, elegant lady gives us a glimpse into her innermost self: shame, guilt, the burden of stereotypes, impulsive thoughts as an unwanted escape from prohibitions. These depths are explored and embodied with poetry and humor. The cracks are weaknesses but let the light shine through. Objects, text, dance – the artistic expressions meet and accompany the story in this floating, poetic, and sometimes burlesque or grotesque world. On Saturday, a workshop on movement, dance, and creative work takes place, inviting participants to dive into the core of the sensitive material that shaped our performance «Sous les Jupes». It is not about learning a choreography but experiencing a living creative process. The red thread of these two hours will be the exploration of the intimate in its rawest and most contradictory form. How can the body make visible what happens inside? Dive into the innermost and explore your inner contradictions with the creative tools of our piece. This workshop invites you to express yourself freely – with poetry and humor, craziness and normality, lightness and authenticity. The program includes: mindful warm-up, guided improvisation, and theatrical play to bring your truth to light through movement. No prescribed technique, but the search for authenticity and letting go within a supportive framework.
Performance on Friday and Sunday, workshop on Saturday, Duration: 1.30 hours, followed by 30 minutes in the foyer (no break). Not recommended for children under 16.
