Description

The life of classical scholar Wolfgang Bergmann has gone off the rails: The university has dropped him, his wife has left him. In this vacuum, Sophia appears, a flawlessly appearing humanoid robot woman, which Wolfgang gifted himself for his 60th birthday. She offers him attention and understanding. But his daughter reacts with horror - Sophia, the new "wife" at her father's side, seems like a perfected copy of her mother. When Jonas, her tech-savvy friend, "optimizes" Sophia's system, the machine begins to learn rapidly - and make its own decisions. By Moritz Rinke
