Pater Brown – Live Audio Play

Description

The character of Pater Brown is one of the icons of crime literature. Created by the British author G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936), the cases of the insightful priest with a deep understanding of the human soul have not only delighted millions of readers worldwide, but have also become popular through film adaptations such as with Heinz Rühmann or Ottfried Fischer.
In the live audio play, two episodes are presented in a new guise with innovative sound design featuring a beatboxer and loop machine: Like an acoustic narrator, it paints environments, moods, and atmospheres in real time. Through live layering with the loop station, complex soundscapes are created—layer by layer, experienced live, and visually comprehensible.
The audience sees and hears how the sound world is created and immerses directly into it.
This form of sound design makes the production particularly: entertaining, original, and a real unique selling point in the live audio play sector. Based on the Pater Brown stories "The Blue Cross" and "The Falling Brothers" by G. K. Chesterton.
