Description

In 2020, Son & Mas was born, a project that emerged during the pandemic from the idea of three musician friends (Rodrigo, Edwin, and Lisbel) to form a small group with musicians from different parts of America and Latin America to represent Cuban music.

The band is characterized by its enormous skill and passion for music and has a broad repertoire ranging from Latin Jazz, where each of its members can demonstrate their excellent virtuosity, to the most traditional and authentic Cuban rhythms such as Son, Guaracha, Chachacha, Rumba, Guaguanco, and Bolero, to infectious rhythms like Timba and Salsa.

Under the direction of Lisbel Acosta, the orchestra showcases the rich musical history of Cuba in every show and interprets most of its musical genres, making Son & Más much more than just Son.

General Information
