MERLAINE A delicate, swinging texture meets conflicting emotions and pounding simplicity. MERLAINE transforms human experiences of merging and emancipation in an honest and dreamy way: sometimes idealistic, sometimes raw and nostalgic, but intimate and expressive at the same time. Based on the solo project of singer-songwriter Daria Lanz, the band was formed for a concert at Nouveau Monde on the occasion of «Fête de la musique 2024» in Fribourg. After further performances, MERLAINE recorded their first EP «Letting go» with Louis Jucker in February 2025. As Americana enthusiasts, their songs feature influences from country, rock, blues, and soul, which they process into individual, genre-crossing creations of atmospheric and rhythmic sounds. With her velvety voice, Daria envelops her audience in a cozy cloak of comfort, allowing them to pause for a moment and dive into their world of thoughts. NÉMIE The Bernese indie-pop band NÉMIE combines musical roots from Argentina, Germany, and Switzerland. Their sound ranges between gentle indie-pop and acoustic singer-songwriter intimacy, characterized by honest lyrics, warm melodies, and a clear connection to nature reflected in their songs. Together, they create space for closeness, depth, and fine dynamics – sometimes quiet and intimate, sometimes moving enough to dance barefoot. Besides concerts on stages, NÉMIE is also encountered on the street. In autumn 2025, the band traveled for three weeks along the French and Spanish Atlantic coasts, playing street concerts in cities like Bordeaux, San Sebastián, Zarautz, and Bilbao. This journey shaped the band's artistic identity and confirmed their desire to share music authentically, accessibly, and through direct exchange. During the trip, new songs were also created, such as the acoustic version of the latest single «Stay», as seen in the following video.
