SIX IN HARMONY:
In 1997, the ensemble was formed from the shared desire to interpret the songs of the COMEDIAN HARMONISTS and to revive this unique music. Since the original scores were not available, but they form the basis for the unmistakable sound, the five-part arrangements and the sophisticated piano part were painstakingly transcribed as authentically as possible based on the original recordings of the COMEDIAN HARMONISTS. SIX IN HARMONY has delighted its audience at countless events with its musical skill and charm. The ensemble has performed in numerous concert halls, music festival weeks, and many theater stages throughout Switzerland as well as in Germany and Austria. In 2009, the ensemble toured Switzerland with the platform DAS ZELT. In 2019, SIX IN HARMONY participated in the Summerschool of the KING'S SINGERS in Cambridge and returned with numerous new ideas and inspirations.
