Description

Singing together to your heart's content can pave an intuitive path to self-compassion, connection, confidence, energy, vitality, and joy of life. Singing is the language of the soul.

When we sing together, we open ourselves to a more empathetic interaction with each other and can reduce fears and inhibitions. We sing without lyrics and without notes, focusing on the joy of sounding, listening, and singing together. What we sing and for how long varies depending on the mood and condition of the group.

Nina Widmer is a singer, soprano, vocal world traveler, and certified singing leader of Singende Krankenhäuser e.V. (SiKra), guided by the visions and concerns of the international network founded in 2010 to promote singing in healthcare facilities and self-organized health care initiatives.
