The new solo by Far From The Norm is an intense dance exploration of a healing process and deals with the search for identity. It is about the invisible legacies we pass from one generation to the next.
The piece is danced by company founder Botis Seva, who confronts his own autobiographical experiences in this work and shows how isolation, frustration, and faith settle in the body and how they appear on the surface both as a source of strength and as fractures.
The audience is drawn into an intimate, evolving portrait of Botis’ inner reality, where the past self faces the present. Through explosive physicality and unwavering emotional clarity, we witness the anatomical reconstruction of a man: a body that reconnects, confronts intergenerational chains, and regains its power with determined force. We see a dancer suspended between memories and possibilities, slowly freeing himself from the inherited patterns that shaped him. SING CHILD SING is a brave act of transformation, an invitation to feel, reflect, and rise.
