Description

Simon Enzler, born in 1976, has been at home on the stages that mean the world since the mid-90s. One of his trademarks is his distinctive Appenzeller dialect. Hosting the show "Comedy in the Casino" on Swiss television made him known to a broad Swiss audience. In 2000, he was awarded the Swiss Comedy Award, in 2007 he received the Salzburger Stier, and in 2008, he was honored with the Prix Walo in the cabaret/comedy category. In 2012, he received the Swiss Cabaret Prize Cornichon, and in 2021, the Innerrhoden Culture Award.

Simon Enzler is 'zmetztinne'. Too old to still be considered a newcomer, too young to be a vintage, he stands at a decisive point in his life. He will turn 50. And since he has been on stage since the tender age of 15, he now looks back on three and a half decades as an attentive observer and eloquent regular at the local pub.
