Simon Enzler

Description

Simon Enzler is a «zmetztinne». Too old to still be considered a newcomer, too young to already be a vintage car, he stands at a decisive point in his life. He will turn 50. And because he has been on stage since he was a delicate sprout of 15 years, he now has over three and a half decades of experience as an attentive observer and eloquent regular at the local pub table. How does he see himself, his profession, and his environment? How does one deal with the signs of diminishing youth and increasing diopter? How does one stay on course in the wild waters of the present? How much future is still in there? Nobody knows. – Enzler rows. And he has been doing so for years. But that exactly gives him confidence. Because even if a rower necessarily looks backward, he still moves forward. Additional performance on Friday, 14.5.27 at 20:00
