This event showcases the premiere of 's’Gschänggläädeli', a commissioned work by Basel composer Raphael B. Meyer, inspired by the poetic world of gift-giving and childhood wonder. The piece, developed in collaboration with theremin soloist Wieslaw Pipczynski, explores the expressive possibilities of the theremin within an orchestral setting. The program also includes 'Autumn Thoughts' by Pipczynski, a lyrical composition for strings, piano, and theremin, creating a rich, effervescent soundscape that celebrates the instrument's unique voice.
