A comeback that needs no applause – just open mouths. Serdar Somuncu was born on June 3, 1968, in Istanbul. He studied acting, music, and directing in Maastricht and Wuppertal. Since 1985, he has directed numerous plays, works as an actor, participates in TV and radio productions, and successfully performs as a cabaret artist and musician on stage. Besides his stage work, he has published several books: Der Adolf in mir, Karneval in Mio, Zwischen den Gleisen, das Hasstament, Matchpointe, and Lügen at WortArt Verlag.
