Description

A festive concert evening to celebrate the turn of the year under the direction of chief conductor Philippe Bach with music by Johann and Josef Strauss as well as Ludwig van Beethoven. In addition to the rarely performed waltz «Seid umschlungen Millionen», Beethoven's 1st Symphony and the virtuosic concert aria «Ah! perfido» with soprano Maura Wesseling are performed – complemented by lively works from operetta, zarzuela, and musical.
