Schrägfunk hosts the tenth Schrägfest in cooperation with jubez Karlsruhe. SCHLUMA - one of the most beautiful stories that has happened in music Germany for a long time.
Lenny, Pola, Linus, and Peter met at the Hochschule in Hamburg in October 2024
and quickly found out that despite different socializations and
generations, they can find not only common denominators but also a whole shared passion.
Together, they wrote songs that are not styled, ironed, overthought, tuned to algorithms, or anything else: They are simply songs and lyrics that stand directly for the moment.
Made to be played live, even if one forgets a chord sometimes. Songs that are allowed to clatter and hiss. Music, somewhere
between discourse rock, punk, 90s Lo-Fi indie, noisy emo, and a bit of Lo-Fi pop.
In September 2026, their debut album "Heulen am Wasser" was released – Welcome to the new
Hamburg Hochschule!
Special guest LEHNER create a sound with their mix of indie and punk that is raw and
melodic throughout – songs that get into your ear and stay in your mind. With driving
guitars and captivating melodies, their songs skillfully oscillate between melancholy and
ecstasy, between doubts and liberating outbursts. LEHNER make a clear statement in
the young German indie rock scene.
