Is something moving, breaking open, or does everything stay the same?
Arriving late and having to leave immediately. Is there enough time to read the traces? Only the mountain is always there. All the time. In slow motion. In fast forward. Fast. Faster. Change.
For her master's project, Julia Maria Imhoof focuses on the mountain. It becomes a reflector of a concept of time that is shaped along perceived changes. In original compositions, arrangements of well-known works, and using various instruments and electronic means, she traces the density of change in the mountain world.
