The impresario Schikaneder commissions Mozart to compose, sketches the content of the libretto, and thus provides an entertaining insight into the creation of the opera "The Magic Flute". The edes ensemble interprets the music in the surprising chamber music arrangement of the original compositions by the French guitarist Antoine de Lhoyer from 1824. Featuring Matthias Peter (actor), Daniel Pfister (flute), Johanna Degen (cello), Christian Bissig (guitar) – A co-production of Mobiles Text-Theater St. Gallen & edes Ensemble St. Gallen.
