Murten, August 2026 – From September 5 to 27, 2026, Galerie Pellegrini in Murten will transform for the third time into a center for contemporary paper art at the highest level. Under the title "Meer Seen," the renowned artist Gaby Studer presents her latest, delicate masterpieces.

Sea meets lakes
The title of the exhibition is a subtle wordplay that perfectly combines the two worlds of the artist. For two years, the Swiss artist has been living and working on the Portuguese Algarve. The vastness of the Atlantic Ocean ("Meer") is reflected in her fine, organic cuts and meets the idyllic backdrop of the Swiss Three Lakes Region ("Seen") at Galerie Pellegrini.
International class in Murten and Charmey
That Gaby Studer is now exhibiting in Galerie Pellegrini for the third time is a real gain for the regional art scene. Her works have been awarded multiple prestigious prizes – including the renowned Prix Eugène Boudin at the Salon des beaux arts in Paris. Simultaneously with the exhibition in Murten, one of her works is also displayed at the renowned Biennale at Musée de Charmey, where she has previously won the audience award.
