In this tension field, Sandra Kreisler moves with wit, charm, deep timbre, and a challenging sparkle in her eyes. Her program is a close look at the present and perception, at attributions, at half-knowledge, at the joy of cultural labels. She spans a wide arc: from her father Georg Kreisler's chansons to new songs and traditional Stetl Niguns. This program certainly does not come across as gentle – she is very much her father's daughter. And yet, there is this lightness and, of course, the famous Jewish humor.
