Description
Before St. Nicholas returns to the forests, he is carried solemnly through the village of Stans every year on December 5th, accompanied by Schmutzlis, servants, Dotschen and torchbearers, and many Trychlers. The parade starts at 7:40 PM at the Tellenmatt school buildings.
Parade route: Engelbergstrasse - Schmiedgasse - Dorfplatz - Nägeligasse - St. Karli roundabout - Stansstaderstrasse - Dorfplatz - Tellenmatt school square
