In short: Sam Snitchy dissects punk, noise, and raw electronic energy into a merciless soundtrack for the contradictions of our time. Sam Snitchy is not a project, but a state. Long before he entered a studio, he stood on the street and shouted poems into the urban noise – raw, uncompromising, and directly from chaos. Under the name Maniporno, a form of expression began that was later poured into music as Melker and finally as Sam Snitchy. In March 2026, his third album will be released by Voodoo Rhythm Records – another step deeper into the pulse, noise, and inner unrest that have characterized his work from the beginning. The new work is a sonic exorcism. Together with Marco Fuorigioco, who distorts bass, synths, and guitars to the point of distortion, Philipp Schlotter, who floods the space with ghostly synth layers, and Domi Chansorn, whose drums hammer like collapsing towers, a sound emerges that knows no boundaries. Psychedelic punk shifts into dark wave, disintegrates into industrial noise, condenses into dub fog, and finally pulses in a distorted techno energy – all in constant change, all under high tension. Above all, Sam Snitchy layers his voice like shards of words. His lyrics are not explanations but disturbances: self-reflective fragments about people lost in their contradictions, about empty routines and life plans that disguise themselves as success, about the absurd pendulum swing between ecstasy and despair. The songs hold a broken mirror up to the face – and leave open whether you want to laugh or scream. Live, Sam Snitchy means exposing oneself to this whirlpool: loud, intense, unfiltered.
