About two years ago, RIAN was still a – albeit hotly tipped – newcomer who gained attention with his first songs in German. "Schwarzes Schaf" went viral in 2023 and previewed the breakthrough of the indie artist, who scores everywhere with zeitgeist and unembarrassed mainstream compatibility. And: RIAN is anything but a one-hit wonder! His German-language indie pop, combined with smart comedy and socio-political relevance for a good cause – full throttle from the front, danceable, deep around the corner, self-critical and always empathetic – delivered numerous very successful singles in quick succession. The pop line from feet to heart to head has rarely felt so correct. In 2024, RIAN then scored a veritable hit with "Verwandtschaftstreffen" from the eponymous EP: it reached number 1 in the Austrian Shazam charts, the Austria Viral Charts, and the Ö3-Austro charts. The song was awarded gold and platinum in Austria and is in heavy rotation on the biggest radio stations, with over 37 million streams and winning three amazing Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in 2025! On the tour for the EP, the hit, but especially his reputation as an excellent live entertainer, brought full houses: after a completely sold-out "Verwandtschaftstreffen Tour 2025" – all German dates were fully sold out including rescheduling and additional shows – and a tour finale in Vienna with over 3,000 fans, further sell-out reports followed for the spring tour '26. Punctually to the sold-out ride, which takes him almost daily in February and March over two weeks to different cities in Germany, Austria & Switzerland, "Blumendisko" the first album of the Austrian – well, of course – also on vinyl, already available for pre-order!
