Description

The REVIZE: Between Tradition and Invention
exhibition presents a unique fusion of historical costume jewellery and modern design. As part of the project, students from five universities in the Czech Republic and abroad have transformed Art Nouveau and Art Deco costume jewellery from a museum collection into contemporary fashion accessories. The project involves the Technical University of Liberec, the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, and the Trier University of Applied Sciences in Idar-Oberstein. An international reinterpretation of historic Jablonec costume jewellery by students from overseas institutions.
The opening will take place on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 3 pm. The exhibition is taking place as part of the Jablonec 2026 International Triennial of Glass and Costume Jewellery. The International Triennial of Glass and Costume Jewellery is held under the patronage of:
