Respect! Tribute to the Greatest Soul Divas

Description

The great hits of Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Etta James, Tina Turner, Dionne Warwick, and others performed by Fabienne Louves, Freda Goodlett, Nyssina Swerissen, and Alina Amuri. Romeo Meyer will host the evening. Although the soul divas of the 1960s and 70s raised their voices against the concrete social, political, and cultural exclusion of Black people in the USA, the female message behind it remains relevant today. Soul is about self-confidence, grace, female power, and fighting against universal machismo. An emotional and captivating evening with much to learn about the great women of soul—and much more music!
