Description

We repeatedly venture into the alpine region in search of new formations that play ear-pleasing music, also use folk instruments, have good voices, and yet lie somewhat outside the norm. We have achieved this in recent years with the Tyrol Music Project, the Peter Mayer Hofkapelle, or Crazy Pony in an impressive manner. All of them are likely to remain in our audience's memory ... and will surely honor us again. Now we believe to once again shape the festival conclusion with such a formation. Because the songs of Reiwas are beautiful, harmonious, and also small stories that catch you suddenly. Musically, the quartet from Upper Bavaria around singer and songwriter Josef Steinbacher does its own thing. With accordion, double bass, guitar, and drums, a sound emerges that swings somewhere between folk and pop and stands on its own. The songs sometimes go to the heart, sometimes to the hips. Sometimes with wit, sometimes with melancholy - but always effective. The music carries, the words stay with you. Open, sensitive, humorous, and always genuine.
