Since 1995, SHAKRA has been known for powerful, melodic hard rock from Switzerland and is now one of the most successful rock acts in their country internationally. With 14 studio albums and over three decades of band history, the band has established itself well beyond national borders.
With the albums "Powerplay" (2013) and "Invincible" (2023), SHAKRA reached number 1 on the Swiss official album charts. Additionally, the band has repeatedly charted in the German album charts and in other European countries, emphasizing their consistent international presence.
Live, the band is firmly rooted across Europe. SHAKRA has played at renowned festivals such as Wacken Open Air (DE), Sweden Rock Festival (SE), Rockharz Festival (DE), Masters of Rock (CZ), Midalidare Rock Festival (BG), Rock Machina Festival (ES), and RV Bang Festival (DE), among many other festivals and club tours across Europe.
Furthermore, they have performed at the Hallenstadion Zurich as support for Guns N’ Roses and have played in the opening acts for Iron Maiden and Rammstein.
