The conversation after the film will be interpreted in German Sign Language. The day concludes with a documentary about anti-fascist resistance practices. An unremarkable village in southern France became a center of the French Resistance against German occupation during World War II. Three women shape the events: Two openly run a reform pedagogical school as a couple, secretly protecting refugees. A secretary forges their identity documents. The film combines archival material from eyewitnesses and former students with a contemporary theater workshop, where children reinterpret the events and confront the past. An urgent appeal to pass resistance knowledge to the next generation.
