Biologist Dr. Irene Weinberger, director of Pro Lutra, guides attendees through the fascinating lives of the two native rat species, the house rat and the wandering rat. The event aims to deepen understanding of these animals, which are frequently associated with horror stories and legends, but are rarely understood in their true nature. The lecture provides a comprehensive overview of their behavior, ecology, and relationship with humans.
