Description

The beginning of the professional career of this leading Czech singer-songwriter is already legendary. Discovered as a street artist in 1993 by Zuzana Navarová, she was introduced to a wider audience in the temple of Czech pop music, Prague's Lucerna. Radůza survived this baptism of fire, triumphing here a few weeks later as the opening act for Suzanne Vega. She had the same honor at Mike Oldfield's concert in Prague. Since then, she has released several very successful solo albums, most of them on her own label, Radůza records, which break sales records without any advertising, earning several Golden Angels and ranking in the Zlatý slavík poll. Thanks to her uniqueness and original songs, primarily drawing from Czech tradition, she has also captivated audiences abroad, for example in Poland and France. Radůza is both a music and lyrics author and accompanies herself on several musical instruments. In October 2023, on the occasion of her milestone birthday, she decided to reflect and released a double album titled Bylo nebylo, which contains a selection of her most successful songs composed over the past thirty years of her musical career. In September 2026, the successful 'best of' album will be released for the first time on vinyl. After many years of successful collaboration with her backing band, she decided to return to her singer-songwriter roots and will perform in a solo program, presenting a cross-section of her existing work as well as entirely new songs.
