Klára Vytisková is a singer and songwriter with a distinctive voice, a recent winner of the Anděl Award in the solo performer category for the album VEGA – her third Anděl in her career. Her domain is pop with a clear opinion and characteristic sound. She packages her work in a strong aesthetic and authentic visual. Her musical roots trace back to the soul and electropop of the band Toxique, but she has gradually transformed into a solo author, reflecting stories and life themes in her music and overall presentation. With the album VEGA, she presents herself in a new, purely Czech era. In her work, she combines introspective lyrics with the energy of punk club stages, vintage vibes of 70s vinyls with contemporary sound. The theme of the current album Vega is perspectives, viewing the world and life from above, with clear basses, vintage drums, and both dirty and crystalline guitars dominating the sound – this is how Klára Vytisková sounds in 2026. She does not strive for perfection, but for authenticity.
