Radiobande – the Autumn Camp

Mic check, Mic check – hello, hello, this is Radiobande live from MUKS! Are you 12 to 15 years old and want to hear your voice on the radio? Would you like to conduct interviews, write stories, and learn about technology? Then you will have the opportunity in autumn! In our autumn camp, you will work with us on audio contributions for the upcoming MUKS exhibition on the theme "Dirt." You will get exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into exhibition making. You will be introduced to radio technology, learn what it takes to make a radio show and good interviews, develop contributions, conduct interviews, and practice speaking in front of the microphone. Our expert leadership team will support you. As a grand finale, you will comment live on the vernissage together with the other band members on Radio MUKS. Here are all the dates:
Autumn camp: Mon, 28.9. to Fri, 2.10., from 11 am to 4 pm each day.
Vernissage: Sun, 22.11., 10:30 am to approx. 1 pm
You register for the whole week and the vernissage. You can try it out on Sun, 13.9., from 2 pm to 5 pm. Participate in a special broadcast on the occasion of Democracy Day. We provide snacks during breaks; you bring your lunch. The project is supported by the Department of Culture Basel-Stadt. Participation is therefore free.

General Information

The autumn camp takes place from September 28 to October 2 at MUKS and offers young people the opportunity to hear their voice on the radio. Participants learn to create audio contributions and conduct interviews while being supported by an experienced team.
