An improvised radio play on stage. Starring: Petr Marek, Johana Ožvold, Marian Moštík. Radio Ivo was created as an attempt to transfer a radio play to the theater stage without any transformation or prior text. Only with the possibility of witnessing its creation. The play Život nedoceníš, directed by Romana Bohunská, and its subsequent reprise with a new theme. Expressive simplicity and sound realism at a slow pace. Normal stories from life. Awkward performers deliver a fairly confident performance. Since 2006, Radio Ivo has staged over 150 completely improvised radio plays, both in theaters and live on the radio (Vltava, Radio 1, Radio Wave, Slovenský rozhlas). For the studio play Měl byste dvacet minut?, it won the international radio award Prix Bohemia in 2009. An exception to the usual full-length story format was the short story play Duch doby for the Kabaret in Éter on the Vltava station. Radio Ivo also collaborates with other artists: this led to the creation of the play 100 rokov naživo in Slovenský rozhlas together with Divadlem Gasperego, performances with actors from Divadlo v Dlouhé and other guests (Aňa Geislerová, Marek Daniel, Ventolin, Zuzana Fuksová, Robert Mikluš, James Cole, Michal Pěchouček, Tomáš Jeřábek, Prokop Holoubek, Madla Bažantová, František Škanta). A special project was a joint performance with Divadlem SkRAT and guest Aňa Geislerová, Tiene pochybností, which is part of the repertoire of the Bratislava scene A4 – nultý priestor. For some time now, all performances have been recorded. Most are available for listening and download on Soundcloud or on the pages and Spotify podcast of Český Rozhlas Radia Wave, where Radio Ivo regularly performed (and where stylized mystifying accompanying texts were a significant part of the plays). Other permanent venues include or have included Studio Hrdinů, MeetFactory, Kavárna Praha, Kabinet múz, and HaDivadlo. Since 2022, Radio Ivo has been a guest in the cultural space Vzlet. The acting trio consists of members of Czech alternative theater groups – Petr Marek is a founding member of the improvisational Dekadentní divadlo Beruška, musical groups Midi Lidi, Monikino Kino, Muzikant Králíček, Kakaduo, a film director (in cinemas Láska shora, Nebýt dnešní, Nic proti ničemu), author of the radio mystery talk show Dospělý večer. He guest stars in theaters Vosto5 and Studio Ypsilon and occasionally engages in stand-up. Johana Ožvold (formerly Švarcová) comes from the Hradec Králové Theater Dno, was a member of the musical group Kazety, is an author of radio plays, a film actress (Nic proti ničemu, Největší z Čechů), a director (The Sound Is Innocent), and an occasional host. Together with Petr, they occasionally perform as DJs and appear as the comedic duo Sourozenci Brücknerovi. Marian Moštík was a member of the improvisational Divadlo V Soukolí, acted in the Brno HaDivadlo, the Bratislava Divadlo SkRAT, and in several films (Nic proti ničemu, Cesta do Říma). All three also perform together in the collective all-stars band of Moravian improvisational theaters Láhor/Soundsystem.
