Public guided tour of the castle

Description

On the Schlossberg - above the town of Thun and visible from afar - sits the 12th century Zähringer Castle with its four towers. The castle's showpiece is the Knights' Hall - the best-preserved ceremonial hall from the High Middle Ages in Switzerland. The five large halls of the tower (donjon) contain many different objects and highlights of history and culture.
