Documentary by Laetitia Møller, France, 2001, 70 minUnder the artificial lights of a stage, the band Astéréotypie performs, touring with their album L’Énergie positive des dieux. Their music is a wave of electric rock. Their lyrics deliver wild poetry. Accompanied by four musicians, Stanislas, Yohann, Aurélien, and Kevin are the singers of the band. Coming from a medico-educational institute for young autistics, they reveal their explosive universes on stage, encouraged by Christophe, an educator more passionate about raw art than educational techniques. They are in their twenties, with a strong stage presence and a unique style. They blow the wind and scream anger. Astéréotypie will give a concert following the screening, at 8 PM at the Docks.
