Presentation Exhibition City Photography «City Originals»

Description

Ana Marija Pinto presents her exhibition project «City Originals» at the end of her mandate as city photographer 2025/26 and shows Baden, its people and everyday life in a way that makes the familiar newly visible. Since 2001, the city has awarded the city photographer mandate. The commissioned photographer documents events, developments and extraordinary things in the city in consultation with the museum and records them photographically for posterity. In addition to visible changes in the cityscape, important events as well as work and living areas of various population groups are also recorded in the picture. The photographs are secured as cultural-historical memory in the city archive and are available to the public digitally. The mandate holder is commissioned by the Department of Culture and is supervised and accompanied by the management of the Historical Museum Baden.
