Description
On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the "Day of Aging" in Altdorf invites you to explore aging from different perspectives and think ahead together. Under the motto "Together for an Age-Friendly Tomorrow," Pro Senectute Uri and the Swiss Red Cross Uri advocate for a positive image of aging, lived appreciation, and a strong intergenerational dialogue. A special program highlight in the afternoon is the panel discussion "Impulses for an Age-Friendly Tomorrow." Moderator Röbi Koller addresses key questions about aging. Look forward to a diverse discussion with influential voices from our society – pointed, reflective, and forward-looking: Viktor Giacobbo (comedian), Stefan Fryberg (former president of Pro Senectute Uri), and Dr. Damaris Aschwanden (head of the Institute for Aging Research at OST) bring different perspectives and encourage reflection – and a smile.
