Plattentaufe – Marc Rudin meets the Band After years of writing, composing, and producing, the time has finally come: With *Freedom*, singer-songwriter Marc Rudin releases his third solo album. On Friday, November 6th, *Freedom* will be officially launched at the Kreuzkeller stage, together with his newly formed five-piece band. For this project, Marc Rudin was able to enlist outstanding musicians: Johnny Gujer on drums, who also played the drums on the album, Cédric Moos on guitar and banjo, who also contributed to several songs, as well as Karina Wilson, the 'soul violinist' from Santa Fe. She, among others, gives the touching song *Lina* her unmistakable signature and has been accompanying Marc Rudin for years with her emotional violin playing. The band is completed by Leandro Rudin on bass. Marc Rudin's son also played various other instruments on the album. Most of the music, as well as most instruments on the album, were played by Marc Rudin himself. Renowned professionals are responsible for the high-quality sound: the album was mixed by the renowned US producer Bill Palmer, and the mastering was again done by Dan Suter from Echochamber. The atmospheric photos and the artwork of the cover were created by MD9 Bojan Zupan. Marc Rudin himself accompanies the songs as usual with acoustic guitar and harmonica. In the ten songs of *Freedom*, he processes personal experiences from the past five years. The album deals with the great themes of life: love, freedom, change, hope, and new beginnings. Difficult and painful experiences also find their place, but confidence remains palpable – the light at the end of the tunnel. The album title *Freedom* symbolizes the courage to follow one's own path and to accept change. The live concerts promise spontaneity, energy, and lots of heart. It will be a musical journey full of emotions that will touch and carry the audience. The songs from *Freedom* unfold a special intensity on stage and invite concert visitors to become part of this journey.
