Description
By Wim Wenders. Screened in 3D on October 10 and in 2D on October 31. After the sudden passing in 2009 of the German dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch, while she was preparing a shoot with Wim Wenders, he had to resume the conception of the documentary he wanted to dedicate to her. It then became a film for her, in 3D and carried by the entire Tanztheater Wuppertal. Images that invite us onto the stage of her theater, then outside, with her dancers, in the city of Wuppertal and its surroundings. Longtime friends, they had always discussed the idea of making a dance film together. But it was only with the advances in digital 3D technology that the filmmaker found the aesthetic language capable of rendering on screen the emotional expressive power of the dance theater so innovative that Pina created. Germany, France · 2011 · 107' · v. o. s-t fr. - format: DC@CAP 2 – Capitole, Salle Lucienne Schnegg (CAP 2) - indicative price: 10.-
