Description

About the exhibition The piazza nostra project gives space to voices that have often been marginalized in the official publications on the history of the Locarno Film Festival. Between 2024 and 2026, the team collected testimonies from former collaborators, local residents, cultural operators, visitors to the Festival, as well as small business owners. Contents Set up in the inner courtyard of the Museo Casorella, the exhibition finds its place in the historic projection booth of Piazza Grande. The journey is completed with filmed interviews and archival photographs distributed throughout the city. - personal memories - stories so far little known - information that has remained hidden - significant anecdotes related to the history of the Festival
