Exhibition "Promenade. The Measure of the Surroundings"

The Fondazione Ghisla Art Collection dedicates its second temporary exhibition of 2026 to the artist Elisabeth Scherffig. "Promenade. La misura del circostante" traces about fifty years of her research and focuses on the relationship between architecture and nature, construction and change, as well as memory and the present. Content The focus is on works in which construction sites, ruins, quarries, stones, vegetation, and landscapes become fields of observation. Drawing is a central element of her artistic practice; photography, sculpture, and installation are also included. Collection On the top floor, the Scelta 2026 of the Ghisla Collection is displayed. The tour combines 34 works by artists who have shaped the international art history of the last eighty years, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, René Magritte, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Lucio Fontana.
