Description

When Philip David Charles "Phil" Collins was born on January 30, 1951, in Chiswick (United Kingdom), no one probably expected the tremendous success he would one day celebrate. Where for many a single number 1 hit already marks the peak of a career, Phil Collins is just getting started. Phil can boast Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and even an Oscar. Whether with Genesis or as a solo artist, Phil Collins hits the mark and the hearts of his fans. Whenever his hits are heard, whether on the radio, live, or privately at home; people know his songs, his stories, sing along, and connect their stories with the music that has accompanied them through all life situations for many years. Why did we decide to perform as a Phil Collins/Genesis tribute band? Of course, because we ourselves as fans did not just grow up musically with this music. Every musician in the band has a very personal experience with the music of Phil Collins and Genesis. But above all stands for us the true meaning of the term "tribute." Namely respect, recognition, and humility towards a great artist. Respect for a life's work, a life story, and the talent and influence of a man before whom our tribute show bows song by song. Our highest credo is to reproduce the songs as they deserve. In every note, we pack our homage to the greatest hits in pop history. We live every harmony, every lyric, and every sound and wish for only one thing... that our listeners can hear and feel our respect for the original. And maybe there are moments when someone in the audience closes their eyes and thinks "This reminds me of...." That is why we perform with this program, that is our applause.
